You can also use the aluminum stand and stainless steel cups as a mini camping stove.

Just remove the plastic coffee funnel and place a small heating device under the cup.
(heating device not included with the kit)

Sterno heaters are probably the best choice, because they are taller and the flame is closer to the cup. They are also easy to find, at Walmart, Safeway, etc.

But first remove the vinyl label from the stainless steel cup that will be heated.
They are simple to remove by doing the following. Fill the cup with hot water and let stand for one minute. Next empty the water from the cup and slowly peel off the vinyl label.
